Konstantinos Argiros brings “Athina Mou” to the Royal Albert Hall for a one-night performance, transforming the venue into an Athenian-inspired stage.
Argiros was born in 1986 in Ilion, northwest Athens. He initially studied medicine in Italy before pursuing music professionally. After taking part in a television talent show, he performed in Thessaloniki and later joined Nikos Vertis in Athens. He signed with Sony BMG in 2008 and went on to release several commercially successful albums, including multiple platinum records.
“Athina Mou”, meaning “my Athens,” became one of the songs most closely associated with Argiros following its release in 2021. His career has also expanded significantly outside Greece, particularly among Greek communities abroad. He has performed at major international venues including the Sydney Opera House, Barclays Center in New York and Chicago’s United Center.
Argiros previously performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024, with the concert selling out. For his 2026 return, the production is designed specifically around the venue. He performs from the centre of the hall in the round, surrounded by 360-degree visual projections inspired by the Acropolis.
The concept recreates, on a large concert scale, elements of the traditional Athenian bouzoukia experience, combining live Greek music with the atmosphere associated with Athens’ late-night entertainment venues.
