Date: Saturday, 5 December 2026
Venue: KK’s Steel Mill, Wolverhampton
Athens black metal pioneers Rotting Christ headline the main stage at Bloodstock Winter Gathering 2026, the indoor winter edition of the Bloodstock festival, at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton.
Formed in Athens in the late 1980s by brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis, Rotting Christ are one of the founding bands of Greek extreme metal and have toured the world for more than three decades. This is a rare UK date for fans of the Greek metal scene.
The one-day event runs across two stages. The main stage also features 1914, Pest Control, Party Cannon, Red Rum, Witchsorrow and Square Wild, while Shrapnel top the second stage. There are band signings and a Q&A with the Bloodstock organisers too.
Doors open at 14:00 and bands play from 15:00 to 23:00. The event is 14+, and under-18s must be with an adult.
