Bloody Hawk, the stage name of Nikolaos Kitsos, performs live at Camden’s Electric Ballroom for one night in December.
Born in Xanthi in 1995, Bloody Hawk began making music as a teenager, forming a rap group with school friends at the age of sixteen and uploading videos online from 2013. He later established himself as one of the most prominent artists in contemporary Greek hip-hop.
His albums include Komplexiko, 1 Evro, Timima and Fthina Tricks. His music is characterised by a heavy, restrained sound, low-register delivery and lyrics that often focus on everyday life and social realities in Greece.
Bloody Hawk signed with Minos EMI in 2021, after having already built a substantial following through his independent releases. Several of his tracks have accumulated tens of millions of streams, making him one of the most widely listened-to Greek rap artists of his generation.
The London concert takes place at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, a standing venue that is particularly suited to a hip-hop performance. Unlike many of the Greek concerts staged in London’s seated theatres and concert halls, this event will have no seated format or tables, creating a more traditional live rap atmosphere.
The event is over-14s and doors open at 19:00.
