Alexis Papahelas, executive editor of Kathimerini and one of the best-known journalists in Greece, gives a public lecture at the LSE Hellenic Observatory.
The title is From crisis to stability to what? Greece in a fragmenting world. The talk looks at Greece’s economic recovery since the crisis years, the geopolitical changes around it and its role in Europe today.
The event is chaired by Professor Vassilis Monastiriotis, Director of the Hellenic Observatory.
Papahelas is also a familiar face from SKAI TV, and was named by POLITICO in 2015 among the most influential people in Europe.
The lecture is free but a ticket is needed. It is hybrid, so you can also watch online through LSE Live.
