Thracian Dance Seminar in London

Date: Sunday, 29 November 2026
Venue: The Stowe Centre, 258 Harrow Road, London W2 5ES

Lykion Ton Hellinidon London invites you to a Thracian Dance Seminar led by traditional dance instructor Dimos Prantsidis, followed by an evening of live music and dancing.

Dimos is a dance teacher, researcher and educator with long experience in Greece and abroad. His work centres on the traditions of Northern Greece and Thrace, and on teaching and promoting Greek music and dance heritage.

The seminar runs through the afternoon, with live Thracian music from Ioannis Koumis on gaida and vocals and Dimitrios Kourtidis on davul. Once the teaching ends, the day moves into a traditional glenti, so everyone can put the steps into practice with the musicians.

Doors open at 12:30 pm. For bookings and more information, contact the organisers at da***@*te.london or visit lte.london.
