Space on Stage Project: The Sun – A Scientific Musical Journey is a performance that mixes space science, live music and storytelling.
Space scientist Dr Georgios Nicolaou narrates, sings and plays guitar, joined by actress and singer Elena Hadjiafxendi. Together they take the audience through what we know about the Sun, drawing on discoveries from the European Space Agency’s Solar Orbiter mission.
Alongside the science, the show looks at the Sun in mythology and Cypriot tradition, so it works for families, science fans and anyone curious about Cyprus.
The event is organised by the Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission. Doors open at 18:30, the show runs from 19:00 to 21:00, followed by a complimentary wine reception.
Booking through Eventbrite is required.
