RoamSchool

Rosie Moëd was a teacher at two top English language schools, Pre-sessional Lecturer at a university, then she became Director of Studies at a school in London. One day, she thought to herself: there are millions of people in the world who want to improve their English, but they can’t.

Maybe they’re too busy to travel or go to a school; maybe they can’t afford it; maybe they have a disability that makes travelling difficult. Rosie wanted to find a way to give them excellent teaching at an affordable price, at a time that fits in with their schedule, anywhere in the world. That’s how RoamSchool was born.

Η Rosie Moëd ήταν καθηγήτρια σε δύο κορυφαία σχολεία αγγλικής γλώσσας, Λέκτορας Προ-συνεδρίας σε πανεπιστήμιο και στη συνέχεια έγινε Διευθύντρια Σπουδών σε σχολείο του Λονδίνου. Μια μέρα, σκέφτηκε: υπάρχουν εκατομμύρια άνθρωποι στον κόσμο που θέλουν να βελτιώσουν τα αγγλικά τους, αλλά δεν μπορούν. Ίσως είναι πολύ απασχολημένοι για να ταξιδέψουν ή να πάνε σε σχολείο.

Ίσως δεν μπορούν να το αντέξουν οικονομικά. Ίσως έχουν κάποια αναπηρία που κάνει το ταξίδι δύσκολο. Η Rosie ήθελε να βρει έναν τρόπο να τους δώσει εξαιρετική διδασκαλία σε προσιτή τιμή, σε μια στιγμή που ταιριάζει με το πρόγραμμά τους, οπουδήποτε στον κόσμο. Έτσι γεννήθηκε το RoamSchool.
