Dr Alvanos was born in Tampa, Florida (USA) and obtained his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics at the Saint Louis University (MO, USA) in 2004.

He has undertaken research projects for the Centre of advanced Dental Education in the USA, as well as multiple orthodontic techniques, including certification in the use of Invisalign and lingual braces (such as Incognito and Win).

Angelos received a nomination for Best Orthodontist in 2013, which acknowledges his commitment to excellence and success in Orthodontic Care.

He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the British Orthodontic Society, British Lingual Society and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Ο Δρ Αλβανός γεννήθηκε στην Τάμπα της Φλόριντα (ΗΠΑ) και απέκτησε το μεταπτυχιακό του στην Ορθοδοντική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Saint Louis (MO, ΗΠΑ) το 2004.

My son had his first set of dental braces when he was 7 years old, just a month before the first Covid-19 lockdown. Dr. Alvanos and his team at Hampstead Orthodontics Practice have been incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in guiding my nervous son through the experience. The practice’s patient coordinator, Mr. Nikandrov, has been extremely efficient and helpful in accommodating appointment availability. Invoices and appointments have always been clear from the outset, and everyone at the practice is warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, skilled, and extremely helpful. My son is now 12 years old, with all his adult teeth fully through. He needed some alignment for his canines and has just had his top brace fitted - the nurse happened to be the same nurse who fitted his braces five years ago. She even called the next morning as a courtesy to check how he was doing. We are truly grateful.

I’ve been going to Hampstead Ortho for my own treatment, and now both of my children are also patients. The practice is friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The team always make the kids feel comfortable and explain everything clearly. Ernest has been incredibly helpful with scheduling — especially when we needed to move appointments or fit things in around school. I’ve had a wonderful experience with Dr. Alvanos and his team. I am currently using Invisalign, and my son had braces as well as an overbite device that initially felt quite complex - but the entire process has been incredibly smooth. The team is highly professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. A special mention to Ernest at reception, who always provides exceptional, personalised service. I have had a lovely experience with Dr. Alvanos and his team. My son is 9 and has had upper and lower braces fit in to resolve overcrowding which can be daunting. Two of my boys have required treatments at different times, ranging from braces to Invisalign, and we have always been extremely pleased with the care and professionalism of the entire team, from the reception desk to the doctor, his assistants, and the invoice department. Nothing is ever hidden, everything is crystal clear.
