Educational & Child Psychologist, HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, Chartered Psychologist BPS.  She is a registered Psychologist with EuroPsy and owns a European certificate in Psychology.

Mrs Chaido Vogiatzi has 16 years of experience as Educational Psychologist providing psychological services for children, young people, families and schools. She is registered with Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) in UK as a Practitioner Psychologist. She holds two master’s degrees in Educational Psychology (Institute of Education, University of London and Sheffield University) and has been accredited Chartered Psychologist by the British Psychological Society and Ministry of Health in Greece.

Mrs Chaido Vogiatzi also holds a degree in Preschool Education by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a QTA (Qualified Teacher Status) status in UK.

Mrs Chaido Vogiatzi is highly inspired when working with children and has in-depth knowledge of developmental psychology. She worked at the Educational Psychology Service in London Borough of Brent and in private sector in Greece. She has been working at the Educational Psychology Service in Surrey County Council since 2017. She also works privately offering psychological services for children, young people, families and schools.

Mrs Vogiatzi works closely with children, young people, families, schools across primary, secondary sectors, special schools and Colleges. She is highly skilled and experienced in providing the following services:

  • Psychological assessment using psychometric and personality assessment tools to identify their level of needs in the areas: Communication & Interaction, Cognition & Learning, Social, Emotional development and well-being.
  • Psychological assessment for children and young people with: Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder), Social and Emotional difficulties, Anxiety, Attachments difficulties, behavioural difficulties, general learning and developmental language difficulties.
  • Identification of needs, strategies and programmes of intervention are agreed with families and education settings through joint problem solving.
  • Plan Do Review` process for the evaluation of the agreed actions.
  • Using consultation, solution focused brief therapy and Personal construct Psychology when working together with children, young people, families and school staff.
  • Using Positive psychology tools, cognitive behaviour therapy, and emotion coaching when working with school staff, adults, parents and carers
  • School-based training on Autism, Cygnet training for parents, Emotion Coaching for children and young people, ADHD, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), Developmental language difficulties, General learning difficulties, Anxiety and Autism, Behavioural Difficulties, Developmental trauma, Classroom behavioural management.
  • Organising small group work on social skills for children and young people with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome, anxiety, social and emotional difficulties.
  • Working together with parents, carers and teaching staff in order to support children’s needs.
  • Valuing children’s hopes, aspirations and learning style in the process of joint problem solving with parents and school staff.
  • Working under a multidisciplinary framework with other professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Child Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Social workers.

Κατέχει επίσης πτυχίο προσχολικής εκπαίδευσης από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και τίτλο QTA (Πιστοποίηση Εκπαιδευτικού) στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.

Έχει πάθος να δουλεύει με παιδιά και έχει σε βάθος γνώση της αναπτυξιακής ψυχολογίας. Εργάστηκε στην Υπηρεσία Εκπαιδευτικής Ψυχολογίας στην Περιφέρεια του Brent στο Βορειοδυτικό Λονδίνο καθώς και στον ιδιωτικό τομέα στην Ελλάδα.

Από το 2017 εργάζεται στην Υπηρεσία Εκπαιδευτικής Ψυχολογίας στο Surrey County Council. Εργάζεται επίσης ιδιωτικά προσφέροντας ψυχολογικές υπηρεσίες για παιδιά, νέους, οικογένειες και σχολεία.

  • Αξιολόγηση των προσδοκιών, φιλοδοξιών και του τρόπου μάθησης των παιδιών στη διαδικασία της από κοινού επίλυσης προβλημάτων με τους γονείς και το διδακτικό προσωπικό.
  • Εργασία κάτω από ένα διεπιστημονικό πλαίσιο με άλλους επαγγελματίες όπως Λογοθεραπευτές,
  • Εργοθεραπευτές, Ψυχιάτρους Παιδιών, Κλινικούς Ψυχολόγος και κοινωνικο:ύς λειτουργούς.

    Mrs Vogiatzi is very approachable and very importantly makes families comfortable in order for them to share their challenges and struggles. She has great insight and assessed our child in great detail. Her advise,support and plan is effective,informed by the latest psychological approaches and designed specifically for each child taking into account their temperament and family’s circumstances. We would definitely recommend her to any family that needs help managing their children’s behaviour.

    I have good feelings, from the moment I talked to her for the first time. She was so kind and so patient.     We hired Mrs C Vogiatzi as we needed support with our son. Since the first meeting we felt confident that she was competent and knowledgeable. Her initial report was detailed and comprehensive including lots of useful advice, school was very impressed. She gave us lots of tips that were easy to follow and we found to be really helpful. She is friendly, approachable and professional at the same time, always ready to help with great advice.     I can’t recommend highly enough Mrs Vogiatzi!! She is very approachable and friendly. From our first call I felt that I was being heard to! It only took her one meeting with us to understand our situation and our difficulties and most important without even seeing and speaking with our daughter, she figured her out! I felt like Mrs Vogiatzi knew us and our daughter for a very long time. She is very explanatory and her advises are very helpful! She is very professional and she liaised great with our daughter’s school. She is always here for us when ever I need her. Now with her help and support I feel much calmer and confident!!

    Highly recommend Chaido. She assessed and wrote a comprehensive report for our daughter who has multiple challenges, learning and physical. Chaido was kind and patient during the whole process with both myself and my daughter. And the completed report captured my daughter perfectly. We are going to continue work with Chaido as my daughter is in year 11 and does struggle with transitions……

    We would highly recommend Mrs Vogiatzi.
    Mrs Vogiatzi is an excellent educational psychologist. She is scientifically very well equipped, applies modern methods and is always available to listen to us and give us the appropriate advice. She gave us valuable advice for the smooth adjustment of our child at school as well as proper guidance to the school staff. She helped us to get rid of stress and to become optimistic about our child’s future. I also did some sessions with her where she applied the “Video Interaction Guidance” method and she helped me set goals and improve the communication with my child.
